Jammu, October 7, 2024 – Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu inaugurated the “Finishing School for Employability”, a 100 hrs. program an initiative by ICT Academy, in collaboration with Infosys foundation designed to equip students with advanced skills in AI & ML through Microsoft Azure Platform for their professional careers and employability.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Dinesh Gupta (Principal), Dr. Amrik Singh (Vice – Principal), Ms. Ridhika Sharma (HOD CSE), Ms. Jasmeen Kaur (HOD IT), Heads of other Departments, faculty members, and representatives from the ICT Academy. Dr. Amrik Singh addressed the students to fruitfully availed the opportunity of working with trainer from Infosys foundation to upgrade their practical skill on AI & ML which is the demand of the industry today. Mr. Ajaz Yousuf, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy in his address focus on importance of employability and skills in today’s job market.
Mr. Mohit Panwar, soft skills trainer from ICT, started the session focusing on communication skills, teamwork, and leadership quality. The training program, aims to enhance the professional capabilities of students, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The soft skills training will be followed by further modules aimed at refining students’ technical and interpersonal competencies in AI & ML through Microsoft Azure Platform, ensuring they are well-prepared for future employment.
The program was coordinated by Ms. Saravjeet Kour (Asst. Prof CSE) and Ms. Amarjoit Kour (Astt. Prof. CSE), who are mentors for this training program.
