TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL
The Training and Placement (T&P) cell of the college plays a key role in arranging Industrial training of the students in industries and other institutions / organizations and helps them with suitable placement in job. In the recent years the T&P cell has given a thrust to its activities and played a pivotal role in the recruitment of graduating students of various B.Tech Courses in leading national and multi-national
companies. T & P cell firmly believes in making students ‘Employable’. To achieve this goal, it works towards recognizing the core competencies of students. The cell is having tie – ups with the placement cell of other colleges in Chandigarh and Punjab so that we can send our students for the joint campus drives as well. We have a record of providing maximum students to Industry on merit basis like TCS, INFOSYS, IBM, VODAFONE, ACCENTURE, NOKIA SIEMENS, CAPEGEMINI, MAHINDRA to name a few. For others who are interested in Govt. sector we have Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air force who regularly come to our college for the recruitment of candidates. Besides, the T&P cell arranges career talks by the experts for dissemination of information regarding employment potential in the country and abroad and also offers counseling to the students in this connection. Several leading companies are invited to hold campus interviews to select engineering graduates and postgraduates from the college. The cell serves as a vital link between the young graduates and prospective employers. College has tie-up with Microsoft I.T. Academy for training of students to prepare them for better placement and meet requirement of contemporary industry. Collage have signed MOU with iQBri Telecom Pvt. Ltd. approved by Govt. of India through National Skills Development Corporation for industry oriented technical skills courses. The best part of it college has setup industry lab through Winnovation Services Pvt. Ltd for in house industrial training and skill development in the college premises itself.
