Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Babliana, Jammu, organized the Induction Programme for the newly admitted 2026 batch.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp by His Holiness Srimaan Mahant Manjit Singh Ji, Sole Trustee of the college.
The formal session began with the address of S. Gurnam Singh, Chairman MBS College, who welcomed the students and shared the vision of the institution. He emphasized for quality education and a conducive environment for the academic, professional, and holistic development of students. S. Lakhbir Singh Bawa, Advisor, in his address guided the students to remain focused, disciplined, and consistent throughout their academic journey.
Prof. (Dr.) Amrik Singh, Principal, apprised the students about the college, its academic journey, achievements, and future plans. He emphasized that the four-year journey at the college would be an opportunity for learning, discovery, innovation, and transformation, enabling students to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies essential for a successful career.
Prof.(Dr.) Rajinder Singh, Administrator, highlighted the importance of discipline, commitment, and active participation in academic and co-curricular activities for all round development. Prof. Parveen Singh, Vice Principal, delivered a presentation about the college infrastructure, departmental facilities, academic structure, curriculum, academic policies, evaluation process, and the scope of various engineering disciplines.
The programme concluded with the blessings and inspiring guidance of His Holiness Srimaan Mahant Manjit Singh Ji, Sole Trustee. He highlighted the significance of technical education in shaping successful careers in an increasing technology-driven world. He encouraged students to embrace continuous learning, remain curious and keep themselves updated with emerging technological developments.
