Fresher Party 2025 Batch

Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology organized a Fresher Party to formally welcome the newly admitted 2025 batch students. The event was organised by the second year students of all branches, who enthusiastically hosted the programme to extend a warm welcome to their juniors.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof.(Dr.) Amrik Singh (incharge Principal) highlighting the significance of fresher parties in strengthening the bond between seniors and juniors and formally inducting the new students into the family of technocrats at the college. He also emphasized that such events play an important role in building confidence, encouraging interaction, and fostering a spirit of togetherness among students.

Prof. Parveen Singh (Dean Academics) in his address advised the students to maintain a balanced life by managing time effectively – between academic, personal growth and explore every opportunity available to shape their career.

The event featured a variety of cultural performances, interactive activities, music, dance performances, and entertainment programmes, which created a lively and cheerful atmosphere. The fresher’s were given an opportunity to introduce themselves, share their talents, and interact with their seniors as well as faculty members, making the event memorable for everyone present.

One of the highlight of the event was the Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher competition, where students showcased their confidence, talent, and personality. Mr. Krishna Lamba and Ms. Hargun Kour was titled with Mr. & Ms. Fresher.

The Program was Coordinated by Ms. Jasmine Kour (Asst. Prof) and Dr. Nitasha Jamwal (Asst. Prof.) along with their teams members. The other faculty members of APSH Department put in their efforts to make this occasion a grand success. Ms. Sarbjeet Kour (HOD APSH), coordinated the event and ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.

The entire programme was gracefully anchored by Joyce Kour and Asis Kour, students of the 2nd year CSE Department, who conducted the event with great confidence and enthusiasm, keeping the audience engaged throughout the programme.
