P.G Department of computer Application has organized a guest lecture on “Computer Applications” on 8^th May 2017. The expert person Mr. Shashank tagotra (D.I.O ) of National Informatics Centre (NIC) shared information regarding the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology which is providing network backbone and e-Governance support to Central Government, State Governments, UT Administrations, Districts and other Government bodies. He also shared his industry experience and guided the students to shape their future by working hard on the basics of their subjects. Present among others were Vice Principal Prof. Amrik Singh, Ms. Pooja Sharma (HOD MCA), Faculty Members  and students of MCA 2^nd  sem and MCA 4^th Sem.

It is to inform that a seminar has been arranged on INDIAN STANDARDS for 3rd Year (6th Semester) and 4th Year (8th Semester Mechanical Engineering Students. Senior Officers and Scientists of Bureau of Indian Standards shall speak on the topic on 24th March 2017 (Friday). Students are required to assemble in the college auditorium in time (12:00 Noon). Refreshment will be served to each participant attending the seminar. The seminar is strictly for 3rd Year (6th Semester) and 4th Year (8th Semester) Mechanical Engg. students.

HOD Mechanical Engineering is required to announce it in the related lasses and depute free faculty members (four, if available) to monitor the students and maintain discipline in the auditorium during the seminar.

Mr. Amardeep Singh, Founder, “Fourth Master Designs “(www.fourthmasterdesigns.com)  delivered seminar on “Product Design and Development” for the students of 5th and 7th Semester Mechanical Engineering department on 25th Nov, 2016.  The activities includes;

1. Crown funding and its scope for designers.
2. Product design and development
3. Materials and manufacturing process
4. Discussion on CAD tools
5. Training programme
6. Q & A Session.

Apex Global Education Services (AGES), Jammu conducted career counselling program in MBSCET on 5th Nov, 2016 , where all the students of 5th and 7th semester participated.

Mr. Prabjot Singh S/o S. Kuldeep Singh R/o Poonch, J&K State, B.E in Electrical Engineering from MBSCET have qualified Indian Engineering Services (IES) 2016 with All India Rank of 101.

A placement drive was held in MBS college for CSE/IT and MCA Students 2017 (passing out) batch by Sebiz on 1st December 2016 and 18 students got selected. The recruitment procedure was Aptitude test followed by GD and HR. Round.

Two students of Computer Science Engineering Department  of M.B.S college of Engineering & Technology have been selected by Tech Aspect Solution Pvt. Ltd. during Campus Drive held in SMVDU, on 14th Nov, 2016.
